Parents Involved Network (PIN)
PIN provides information, support, referrals for parents/caregivers to help them become the best advocate for their children. Parent Advocates who have been through the experience themselves support families whose children have behavioral health challenges. PIN also advocates locally and statewide influencing policy issues affecting children and youth who have emotional or behavioral health challenges.
In Delaware County, the Parent Empowerment through Advocacy & Knowledge (PEAK) Workshop series equips parents/caregivers of youth with emotional and behavioral challenges with the knowledge, skills, and resources to become their children’s most effective advocates. The PEAK curriculum features presentations by professional human service providers from local child-serving systems, peer-to-peer discussions with family advocates, and interactive discussions by participants.
Additionally, PIN Philadelphia provides on-site advocacy to family members whose youth are at Einstein Crisis Response Center (CRC).
All services and supports are free of charge.
