Free Family Peer Support Specialist Training


This is a Family Peer Support Specialist training for primary caregivers who are interested in becoming a Family Peer Support Specialist. 


This is a 5-day comprehensive training using the Family-Run Executive Director Leadership Association (FREDLA) Parent Peer Support Provider Practice Model. This Practice Model provides a framework for the essential functions of a Family Peer Support Specialist, offering core competency training and practicing of skills across the 6 phases of family peer support: Connect, Discover, Support, Empower, Prepare and Take Care.
